Texte d'expression : les peurs humaines

Every human being has their own fear. Some people are afraid of the dark, some people are afraid of animals, and some people are afraid of everything.

I don't believe people who say that they're afraid of nothing. We all have something we're scared of. It's in the human genes to be afraid.

Témoignage : mes peurs d'enfant et d'adulte

When I was a little girl, I used to ask my parents to leave the light on because I was afraid of the dark. I remember being terrified of the awful movie Sleepy Hollow. Actually, I used to have a lot of nightmares as a child. I still do, and when I have them I can't go back to sleep until it's morning.

Today, one of my biggest fears is dizziness. When I stare down from something high, I am petrified. I just can't move, and someone has to help me. It began when I was eight years old. Contrary to other girls, I am not afraid of mice, because they are not dangerous animals; I actually find them cute. I am not afraid of spiders, but I find them disgusting.

Now, I think that I have to work harder on my fears and try not to be afraid of them anymore. I'll try my best not to be afraid, because being afraid of something won't get me anywhere and it won't help me. Unfortunately, I don't really know how I am going to do that.
